Pet License
All dog and cat licenses shall be issued for one year beginning with the first day of April of each year. Application for license may be made 30 days prior to the first day of April of each year. Cost of a license is $5.00 per animal along with proof of rabies vaccination.
The City of Pennock Animal Services' conducted by the Kandiyohi County Sheriffs department provides the following assistance to all residents and is dedicated to helping protect the health, safety and welfare of both people and animals in our community.

- Barking dog complaints
- Trapping nuisance wildlife and loose livestock
- Carcass removal
- Ordinance enforcement
